One warms the eggs while the other keeps watch over the surroundings to protect their family in the nest.

New Spouse!
Like every spring, the pair of swans in the park are incubating their eggs. But a local swan watcher told me some surprising news.
According to him, this year’s father swan is not the same as last year’s. The former one hasn’t been seen this year — he may have died. So, the female swan has accepted a new mate to start a new family.
Every family has its own story. It might be the same for both swans and humans.
